This is going to look awesome! Unfortunately I failed to support it from the bottom and not just the sides, to which the drawbridge decided it was a great effing idea to collapse, taking half my house with it. (I mean, I know it's the apocalypse and all, but no need to live in a ugly s***hole!) I finally decided where it goes and placed it.
So I proceeded to clear out some blocks and play with options as to where it would look best. I managed to scrape together all the materials I needed and after the long wait I was finally in possession of my awesome new front door for my domains. Dude wasn't happy about it, but being he is a zombie now I didn't care too much. I was able to save a lot of mechanical parts by pinching a workbench from someone's garage.
I figure I needed a drawbridge so I could park my newly acquired (and much needed) form of transportation. The horde base sits west from it and was done from the ground up. The regular base is kind of a Frankenstein looking mashup of a POI plus all the extras I've added, but it's home and I love it.
So there I was, looking at my horde base & my regular base, on top of my new minibike.
